About this apartment rental
Settle into the leather sofa after a beach day, then step out to the covered lanai for views of the grounds, the pool, and Maui beyond. This third-floor, one-bedroom, one-bath Wavecrest condo sleeps four and brings a relaxed waterfront setting to Molokai’s south shore. The remodeled kitchen is ready for a simple breakfast or dinner at home, while the oceanfront pool, cabana, shared grills, and landscaped grounds make staying close feel like a good plan. Use Kaunakakai Town for local supplies and a look at the island’s everyday pace, then return to the breeze and open view. With a balcony, full kitchen, and room for a small group, this is a comfortable choice for families or friends who want a quieter Hawaii stay built around the water.
The Space:
This third-floor, one-bedroom, one-bath condo is arranged around a covered lanai with views of the grounds, pool, and Maui. Inside, the remodeled kitchen brings high-end finishes into meal time, and a large leather couch gives the living area a comfortable place to land after the beach. With room for up to four guests, a TV with DVD player, and a full kitchen, it is an easy home base.
Guest Access:
Guests at Wavecrest enjoy access to the shared pool and on site tennis courts, with beach access and ocean views throughout this Molokai oceanfront complex. On site parking and a nearby laundromat add convenience to your stay.
The Neighborhood:
On Molokai’s south shore, the horizon does a lot of the work. The channel views toward Maui and Lanai turn ordinary pool time into a reminder that you are somewhere special, while Kaunakakai Town offers practical supplies, local shops, and a small-town meal. The coast here feels quieter and less programmed than the major resort islands. Explore the rural roads and the island’s east side when you feel like a drive, or keep the day close to the water and let the scenery slow you down.
Getting Around:
Kaunakakai is Molokai's main town, about 10 to 15 minutes from Molokai Airport. A rental car is recommended since the island is spread out, though the town center itself is walkable, with local shops, the harbor, and casual eateries within easy reach on foot. Beaches and the scenic east end are a further drive away. Parking is simple and uncrowded, matching the relaxed, unhurried pace of this quiet island.
Other Things to Note:
Internet and cell phone reception can be spotty at times. Please note: this vacation rental is not equipped with air conditioning. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
