About this apartment rental
For guests who want to spend more time looking at the Pacific than looking for it, this Hale Ono Loa condo puts the oceanfront setting at the center of the stay. The spacious lanai opens to ocean views where turtles may be seen in the water and humpbacks pass in season. One bedroom and one bath sleep up to four, with a remodeled bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower, French doors at the bedroom, a sofa bed, and a stocked kitchen with a breakfast bar. The shared pool, grills, lawn games, and ocean-view deck give the family easy options without leaving the grounds. Honokōwai Beach Park is nearby, with Kāʻanapali dining and Whalers Village to the south and Kapalua beaches farther north. A couple or small family can settle into a genuine West Maui shoreline week here.
The Space:
This one-bedroom condo sleeps four and leads out to a spacious lanai with open ocean views. Recent updates include a breakfast bar, French doors to the bedroom, and a fully remodeled bathroom with a large walk-in shower. A sofa bed adds flexible sleeping space, while the stocked kitchen is ready for meals at home. It is a comfortable place to come back to after a pool day or a West Maui drive.
Guest Access:
Guests at Hale Ono Loa can use the shared pool, grills, and ocean-view deck. This oceanfront condo has elevator access and a private lanai for watching the water and seasonal whale activity.
The Neighborhood:
Honokōwai gives West Maui a quieter shoreline feel while keeping Kāʻanapali's dining, shops, and Whalers Village within an easy drive south. Honokōwai Beach Park is nearby for a beach stop, and Kapalua lies up the coast when you want to explore another cove or coastal view. From this channel-facing stretch, the sky often changes beautifully over Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi at day's end. In winter, it can also be a rewarding place to look for humpbacks offshore. Stay here for a couple's trip or a small family break that prioritizes sea air and a slower pace.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's scenic west side coastline. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, shopping, and dining spread along the coast. Front Street and the historic town center are walkable with charming shops and restaurants, while nearby beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available in lots, though it can fill up in town.
