White Sands Village sits on Ali'i Drive between Kailua-Kona and Keauhou, directly across from Magic Sands Beach Park. Magic Sands is the easy answer when the day calls for sand and a swim, while Kahalu'u Beach Park is a well-known stop for snorkeling conditions. Keauhou adds dining and a change of pace farther south, and Kailua-Kona offers the livelier town side of the coast. Getting Around:

Kona International Airport is roughly 25 to 30 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kona Coast, including Kahalu'u Beach Park, Keauhou, and downtown Kailua-Kona. Magic Sands Beach Park is directly across Ali'i Drive, while groceries, restaurants, and most other stops are a short drive away. Parking availability varies by destination.
