And when the sun is shining, make your way outside to the garden where you take a seat at the table and enjoy a cuppa while admiring the surroundings.

If you fancy a day at the beach, the golden sands of Runswick Bay are 4 miles north, while the iconic seaside town of Whitby is 6 miles east where you can explore Whitby Abbey, swim in the sea and dine on the freshest seafood. Alternatively, the quiet countryside village of Mickleby is 2 miles west and if you’d like to see some local history, the atmospheric ruins of Mulgrave Castle are just over a mile south. There is also a wealth of walking and cycling trails surrounding the property.
