Renowned for its historic college and attractive surroundings, Ampleforth is a haven for walkers, cyclists and lovers of the great outdoors, with the popular market towns of Easingwold (9.5 miles) and Helmsley (5.5 miles) just a short drive away and a convenient rail connection at Thirsk, approximately 12 miles to the west, providing easy access for further exploration.
