Whether you step out on foot, by bike, or even jump on a boat from the local harbour, adventure is assured nearby. Walk the short distance to the marina to watch the boats bob in and out of the Penryn River or make your way into town to discover highlights including Falmouth Art Gallery (1 mile), the National Maritime Museum (1.5 miles) and Pendennis Castle (2 miles). Spend time on Gyllyngvase Beach (2 miles), a golden-sand cove that’s popular and safe for swimming, rock pooling and water sports.
