Less than 5 miles north of the busy market town of Pickering, you’ll have plenty to do and explore right on your doorstep. Just 3 miles north of the village and you can be walking in Cropton Forest. Travel another 18 miles and you’ll reach the fishing town of Whitby or you can travel there by steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, passing by beautiful moorland scenery. A little further down the coast visit Scarborough (23 miles) with its two sandy beaches, amusements and castle.

Take the steps to the front door and enter into a triple-aspect, open-plan living/dining/kitchen area offering superb views towards Levisham to the east and the Vale of Pickering to the south. Dine at the table and plan your next adventure. When the night calls, you’ll find one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with plenty of storage space. There is a large bathroom with shower over corner bath.

You are spoilt for choice of seating places as you have your own enclosed garden with seating but this complex has a vast communal garden with well-stocked borders and wildflower patches with strategically placed benches where you can while away the hours with a good book or just admire the wildness. There is also a communal pool house with changing facilities and showers; take a dip in the 6m exercise pool and finish off in the sauna and hot tub.

- Communal swimming pool 6m x 3m, 1.2 m deep - children must be supervised. Open 10am to 8pm
- Communal hot tub and sauna - please note sauna is free but does need a £1 to operate which is returned
- Bath and hand towels are provided. Please bring your own for swimming or the hot tub
- Pub is a short walk away (check for opening times and if serving food) and shop 5 miles
- Please note, this property is not suitable for parties due to being in a residential area and the owners kindly request that you consider the neighbours by keeping the noise down outside after 10pm.
- Property is accessed by quite steep stone steps
- Please note, there are head-level beams in the twin bedroom
- Infants are included within the maximum occupancy for this property. For safety and insurance reasons, the total number of guest (including infants) must not exceed the advertised sleep capacity.
- Only guests name on the booking are permitted to stay at the property and use the on-leisure suite as capacity is limited due to shared facilities
- PLEASE NOTE - that there is CCTV in operation up the driveway, in the parking area and covering the entrance to the leisure suite
