About this cottage rental
This super little cottage sit on the beautiful Saltmarshe estate near Howden, surrounded by around 100 acres of private parkland. It’s a wonderfully peaceful setting with riverside paths, woodland trails and Howden Marsh close by for quiet nature walks. The market town of Howden is just moments away (4.5miles), offering cafés, pubs and independent shops, while Beverley, with its impressive Minster and lively racecourse, is only a 30 minute drive away. North Cave Wetlands is nearby for birdwatching, and the Yorkshire Wolds offer endless countryside to explore. Fraisthorpe Beach and the dramatic landscapes of Spurn Point are both around an hour away, giving you plenty of options for days out.
At the heart of this single-storey cottage is an elegant living/dining room. With comfortable sofas, oak flooring, a cosy rug, wood burner and dining table, this is a spacious and serene space for enjoying delicious meals and quiet evenings in. Next door, the large country kitchen features chic white units, wooden worktops and plenty of space. Kitted out with everything you should need, this room contains a gas oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and microwave. This lovely property includes two bedrooms, one master with king-size bed, fitted wardrobe and en-suite shower room and one twin with access to an additional shower room.
Outside, a paved patio area is furnished with a rattan table and chairs, perfect for al fresco meals and drinks in the summer. There is off-road parking. Gas BBQ can be provided upon request
