You can also hop on board the Furness Steam Railway or take Afternoon Tea in the elegant gardens of The Lakeside Hotel with stunning views across the Lake. History lovers will enjoy the numerous local heritage properties in the area, including Beatrix Potter’s home at Far Sawrey only 6 miles or Wordsworth’s School in Hawkshead where you can see his graffiti! (8 miles).

Upon arrival, you will find ample off-road parking for two cars. Once inside this ground floor property you will find a charming sitting room where a delightful wood-burning stove, along with ample seating and a TV, make for cosy evenings in. Just beyond the lounge is the kitchen/diner, a perfect space for enjoying your morning breakfast, surrounded by stylish, shaker-style fittings, whilst admiring the view over the extensive gardens toward the lake and fells beyond - watch out for the deer, pheasants and rabbits who frequently stroll across. The kitchen offers ample preparation space as well as a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. When night falls, choose between two bedrooms, one offering a double, and the other twin beds. In the contemporary bathroom with underfloor heating, you will find a bath with shower over. In the utility room in the courtyard you will find a washing machine for your exclusive use and a tumble dryer shared with guests staying in Deer Rise.

To the rear of the property is a spacious garden with several patios; a large lawn ideal for lawn games, and a child's play area. There is ample garden furniture, garden games and a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows. Please note there is an unfenced naturally occurring rock pool in the garden. The Hot Tub is for your exclusive use, enjoy taking in the magnificent views whilst basking in its bubbles.
