A peaceful, quiet retreat to enjoy the ocean and recharge,
Sea Esta is a gem!
This 3 bedroom house is on a 2-mile peninsula that initially brings you through the lovely University of New England campus before turning completely residential. It's great for running, walking, and biking. The lot abuts the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge at the rear with great views from the second floor sunroom.
A 2-minute walk from the front door offers access to a sandy bay beach. Great for sunbathing, swimming, walking, exploring, and fishing off the jetty where the Saco River empties into the Atlantic. You might even see the Old Orchard Beach fireworks on Thursday evenings during the summer!
Looking for a change of venue? Just a 10 minute car ride / 20 minute bike ride gets you to Biddeford Pool and Fortune's Rocks beach. Biddeford Pool has a very small commercial section, featuring the beloved seaside restaurant and general store with stunning views, Goldthwaite's /Pool Lobster.
The property manager lives just steps away from the rental house, and is happy to provide assistance, support, and recommendations by request.
PROPERTY DETAILS
* 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths with maximum occupancy of 6 (can flex to 8 w/small children with prior approval).
* The driveway can accommodate apx. 4 passenger vehicles.
* First floor layout: Two bedrooms (queen bed and AC in each), full kitchen, full bath, washer/dryer room, living room, eat-in kitchen, and sunroom.
* Second floor layout: Primary suite style bedroom (queen bed with AC, private full bathroom) with an en-suite that has a deck that can seat 4 with a partial ocean view, and a sun room with partial view of the marsh.
* Each bed has a set of sheets, two pillows, and a quilt.
* Bath towels and beach towels provided.
* Outdoor open shower for rinsing off.
* We provide fast Wi-Fi as well as YouTube TV via Roku where you can also access the streaming services you subscribe to at home.
* Backyard includes a propane gas grill, picnic table, and a few chairs.
* Front yard includes a small firepit with chairs and side tables.
* Quiet hours after 10 PM. No loud parties allowed.
NOTE: The small backyard cottage is currently occupied by the property manager. You may occasionally see him walking through the backyard to get to and from the street or to access the side door of the garage.
