Whether you're planning a quiet couples' getaway, a family trip, visiting the Tifton area, or simply looking for a relaxing place to unwind, our cottage offers the perfect balance of country living and convenience.

One of the best parts of staying here is enjoying the outdoors. Take a walk down to the pond, bring your fishing gear and cast a line, relax outside with a cup of coffee, or spend the evening around the fire pit under the stars.

A little taste of farm life

Our five chickens and one duck live in their coop nearby, and guests are welcome to visit them. When our hens are laying, you're welcome to collect fresh eggs to enjoy during your stay at no additional charge. Egg availability depends on our hens, of course!

You may also spot deer and other wildlife around the property, especially during the quieter parts of the day.

Pond & fishing

Guests are welcome to enjoy our pond and fish during their stay. Bring your fishing gear, find a peaceful spot by the water and enjoy the slower pace of country life.

Evenings outside

After a day exploring the area, gather around the fire pit or simply sit outside and enjoy the stars and peaceful country surroundings.

The cottage

Our cozy cottage accommodates up to 4 guests and is designed to be a comfortable home away from home. It's a great choice for couples, small families, friends, or guests visiting the Tifton area.

Please note: The primary bed is located in a cozy loft with low ceiling clearance and is accessed by a fixed, permanently mounted ladder, as shown in the photos. Guests who prefer not to climb a ladder can sleep on the queen-size sofa bed on the main floor.

You'll have the privacy of a country setting without feeling far away from everything. Tifton is approximately 10 minutes away, giving you easy access to restaurants, shopping, groceries and local attractions.

Visiting ABAC or the Tifton area?

The cottage can also be a convenient home base for guests visiting Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), attending local events, visiting family, or traveling to the area for work.

What makes our cottage special

It's not a hotel and it's not a typical stay in town. It's an opportunity to slow down, enjoy nature, watch the chickens and duck, collect an egg when the hens cooperate, fish in the pond, sit around the fire and enjoy a peaceful South Georgia evening.
