About this bed and breakfast
Now reopen after being updated with fresh paint and more ! Enjoy the peace and quiet in this private retreat located on our gorgeous 6 acre wooded property. The spacious one bedroom retreat will comfortably house four people . We have a queen size bed and a queen size comfy sleeper sofa. We are wired with WiFi and a smart Tv with Netflix preloaded. The apartment has its own washer and dryer unit for your exclusive use! We welcome your well trained dog friends ( no more then two ). We even have a XL dog crate in garage you are welcome to borrow.
The retreat is perfectly located to enjoy the Knoxville , Oak Ridge, Tellico Village area for hiking, boating, Off roading or a Vols game. We have plenty of parking space, so feel free to bring your trailer with your toys for outdoor fun. You are welcome to explore our forested property as part of your TN adventure. Pull up a chair and enjoy our shared ( with the main house ) fire pit and outdoor toys. We even have a blow up Kayak you can borrow! We are a great spot to day trip explore : Nashville (2 hrs), Pigeon Forge(1.25 hrs), Gatlinburg(1.5 hrs), Chattanooga (1hr), Asheville (2.5 hrs) and more ! This peaceful retreat is a wonderful “writers retreat”. Bring your laptop , sign into our WiFi and get your project done !
Need to stay for a bit : perhaps looking to relocate and need time to shop properties or working for a few weeks in Oak ridge OR just want to work remotely for a needed escape ? We do offer discounts for longer stays.

This is a perfect getaway. It is so peaceful and restful. I loved it, but it is not close to town, which for me was not a problem. I loved sitting on the front porch....listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. It was wonderful. Thank you Joyce!

This property ended up being a wonderful solution to a short-term stay for a relocation to the area. Clean, cozy, it offered every amenity you'd expect for a comfortable stay of two weeks. I loved the privacy and the quiet of the area. The owners were fantastic with communication and their flexibility to my schedule was greatly appreciated! Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice place to stay in the area.
