Nestled in a quiet setting surrounded by trees and with few neighbors, this log cabin with a nice lodge feel offers the perfect home away from home for a peaceful escapade! Outdoor enthusiasts will be happy to know there are many hiking and biking trails and parks nearby. You will enjoy easy access to 25 to get to Greenville and to 26 to get to Asheville. Hendersonville, which is 13 miles away, offers many good restaurants and breweries and it's a must-visit. Other nearby attractions include Flat Rock, Green River, Carl Sandburg Home, Dupont Forest, Greenville, Asheville, and Travelers Rest with Swamp Rabbit Trail. Upon entering this three-story charmer, you will immediately notice a spacious open floor plan with high cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, lots of wood and light, and black bear decor throughout. Make yourself at home as you spread out comfortably in the welcoming living area, furnished with guests' comfort in mind. Stream a favorite movie or series on the smart TV equipped with streaming and cable services while the wood-burning stove keeps you nice and toasty. When mealtime comes, you will enjoy a well-appointed kitchen with the essentials to prepare the most delicious homemade meals and treats for the crew. This area also boasts two main bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. You will find multiple furnished decks with seating options, a gas grill, and impressive tree-lined views. Everything was perfect and the house was spotless. We wanted an escape to silence and this checked every box! The sauna is such a treat for relaxation. As a recent breast cancer survivor, this slice of heaven helped me. I sat and read my Bible from so many spaces looking out to nature feeling close to God. This was our second stay in the home and we will be back!

This property is amazing, so clean and spacious, also the kitchen is well equipped. The sauna is so cool and the whole house is simply stunning. Very well decorated in details wirh the cute black bears everywhere. Also loved the many books and downstairs area, as well as the many outside decks and outdoor area. Beautiful tress and so peacwful. We will surely miss the Black Bear Lodge. What a wonderful property. The cleaniness was amazing. Beds were so comfumy and bedrooms so cozy. Bathrooms were wonderful and spacious. This property is loved by their owners you can just tell Thanl you so much for letting us be your guest !!

The house makes you feel like you are secluded but yet is still close to the highway. There is plenty of space, inside and out. The place is very clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure!
