Nestled just 15 minutes from Hendersonville and conveniently situated near popular attractions like the Flat Rock Playhouse and Carl Sandburg Home, this central location makes exploring the Pisgah and DuPont forests an easy and scenic drive. Take a short hike from the cabin and you'll encounter some of the most incredible waterfalls in the area.
Step inside our thoughtfully crafted 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath log home and you'll immediately feel a sense of warmth and tranquility. The wrap-around deck calls you to relax in the large, soothing hot tub, while the romantic stone fireplace becomes the centerpiece of intimate evenings spent in the company of loved ones. The stainless appliances in the kitchen elevate your culinary experience, while the porch beckons you to unwind in the comfort of the rocking chairs.
In January 2024, we went above and beyond to ensure the utmost luxury and comfort by completely renovating the master bath. It now boasts a beautiful tile shower and double vanities, providing an indulgent retreat for relaxation (updated pictures coming soon!).

The property has lots of positive attributes for families – – including games and entertainment for the kids. The interior is very modern and up-to-date: the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for preparing meals and the bathrooms are in excellent condition with a modern design. The second floor bedroom has a window air-conditioning unit that is effective for much of the living area as well as the bedroom – – and a comfortable bed. The outside porch and deck needs some work. The chairs and picnic table are not in good shape so I would recommend bringing your own lawn chairs, as we did. The house is comfortably nestled among the trees, all around, and in a quiet location, but don’t expect a good view of the mountains and valley in the summer — perhaps in the winter when the leaves are off the trees.

We had a lovely stay at this home, enjoying the deck, listening to the birds. House was clean and very well stocked with toiletries and paper products. Property very close to Flatrock and Hendersonville for shopping. Be aware this property is up a steep and windy road, but other than that it is easy enough to get to. There is no view in spring and summer, but in fall and winter, there may be views. Also, the master bedroom is lovely, however it is a loft format, so privacy and noise from the rest of house may keep you awake. I would recommend fixing the spring on the dishwasher door. When opened, if you aren’t careful it falls fast. This caused one member of our party to get a scrap on the leg. Also the descriptions of the amenities said ‘drip coffee maker’, but it is actually a Keurig. Thankfully, there were pods in the house already, thank you. I brought the wrong form of coffee and after the long drive, I didn’t want to go back out to the store. Thank you sharing your home.

The cabin was breathtaking, beautiful! The hot tub was amazing. The views were so pretty. But the house had no AC during our stay (even though AC was listed in the house description). The host did NOT inform us of this, we had to reach out to the host regarding the issue. The host offered a partial refund due to the inconvenience of no AC, but then back tracked on what he had offered. It was like pulling teeth to get the partial refund from the host due to no AC in the cabin. Vrbo had to get involved and be the middle man to get me the partial refund the host had stated he’d give. The house had a lot of room and activities for the kids. I would recommend staying at this house after the AC gets fixed. Other than the AC inconveniences - we really enjoyed our stay!
