For everyday needs and a casual meal or two, Poipu Shopping Village is roughly 0.3 miles away on the same road and includes shops, restaurants, and Whalers General Store, all reachable on foot. The broader Poipu area offers snorkeling, bodyboarding, and whale watching in season, along with the Spouting Horn blowhole just down the coast and the historic plantation town of Koloa a short drive inland.
