Ouzel Creekside Cabin is only a few miles to Yosemite`s South Entrance. Located in a beautiful mountain, creek-front setting at 4,300 feet elevation. Cool summers and shady pines! Listing includes a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath with large patio.
The home is set up with main living area with king and twin room upstairs and queen room downstairs accessible from outdoor stairway. Perfect for couples traveling together looking for a little privacy, extended families or families with teens.
Ouzel Creekside Cabin was once owned by the foreman of the Sugar Pine Lumber Company. If you are looking for a unique cabin in an amazing setting, this is for you!
Sugar Pine is only a few miles to Yosemite`s South Entrance. At 4,300 feet elevation, you can experience a true mountain setting with cool summers, snowy winters and shady pines and Dogwoods.
Originally built in 1926, the cabin has been rustically remodeled and decorated to maintain historic character.
Enjoy the sounds of Lewis Creek from the shade of the old Oak tree. Patio features comfortable seating area with gas fire pit, table and chairs for dining al fresco and a 4-burner gas grill.
The living room is large, welcoming and perfect for putting your feet up after a long day of hiking. Features a 50-inch flatscreen SmartTV (no cable).
Spacious kitchen includes all large and small appliances needed for cooking (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, juicer, crockpot, waffle maker, coffee maker (coffee & sugar packets), pots, pans, cutlery, selection of seasonings, etc.)
Upstairs
Large main bedroom has a king size bed, dresser, closet space with hangers.
Second “bedroom” is more of a side-room with a twin bed. The space would be perfect for a child’s room, but would also work for another adult.
Bathroom is “Jack-and-Jill” style with doors to both bedrooms. Features a small, stand-up shower (no bathtub). We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand soap and lotion.
Upstairs also features the large living room, dining room and kitchen.
Downstairs
The downstairs of this cabin features the Queen room with full (second) bathroom, mini-fridge, keurig coffee maker (pods, sugar, powdered creamer), microwave and beautiful creek-front deck.
It is accessible via separate entrance accessible by outdoor staircase only.

*Maximum number of guests is strictly enforced
*The house is heated by gas/electric heat (fireplace is for decoration only)

Ouzel Nest is located 8 miles from Yosemite`s South Entrance, 10 miles from the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, 38 miles from Yosemite Valley, 11 miles from Bass Lake and 3 miles to the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.
The nearest full service town is Oakhurst (9 miles). There you can find grocery shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater, gas stations, etc.
The closest dining is in Fish Camp. The Narrow Gauge Inn Restaurant & Buffalo Bar are only 3 miles. The Tenaya Lodge is 5 miles and offers spa services, as well as multiple dining options.
Open fires are not permitted. Fireplace is off-limits. We have propane heat and electric heaters. Gas BBQ and gas firepit is provided and allowed.
