There is a LOT to recommend and we loved the apartment. It is spacious and very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern. Everything was very clean, the WiFi worked well, the views are great and the location was perfect for us - in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood right down in the south (less frenetic and easier to breathe than in the centre). It is a 15-20 min walk to the cable car, which is such a great way to get around the city. There is a fantastic local market nearby to pick up supplies or to have a cheap and tasty lunch. There is also a huge shopping centre 5 mins away, with a supermarket, from where you can always pick up a taxi. Percy was always very quick to respond to any questions and made good recommendations.
A few small details would make this flat 100%!!! The curtains in the bedrooms are flimsy, so the morning light comes straight in. Not a big problem for us, but if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. Percy says he is commissioning proper curtains though! The kitchen could be better equipped. It is fine for basic cooking though.
