The apartment is very charming and the price is definitely competitive. It is located in a quiet and easily accessible area, away from the nightlife but very close to Mdina and Rabat.
During our five-day stay, we experienced several problems. We never used the swimming pool because the water was extremely cold. Turning on the bedroom light caused the main circuit breaker to trip, while the outdoor light was unusable because either there was no accessible switch or it simply did not work.
The internet connection did not work because the router cable was damaged. There were several cobwebs in the corners, and the kitchen cupboards were full of opened and half-used food packages. The cleanliness of the kitchen and its equipment was also very poor, from the extractor hood to the pots and pans.
There was also a water leak that soaked the ceiling and caused pieces of paint to fall into the room. Because of this problem, we were left without running water for an entire morning. Finally, we were provided with only three towels for the whole stay.
The apartment has potential, but it needs much better maintenance, cleanliness and attention before guests arrive.
