Welcome to Camp Crocker, a 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront home for up to 8 guests on Cochnewagon Lake in Monmouth, Maine. Set along 200 feet of shoreline, Camp Crocker offers a spacious waterfront lawn, L-shaped dock, lakeside firepit, kayaks, canoe and two paddleboards — all just steps from the house.

Cherished by our family since 1986, Camp Crocker combines the nostalgic character of a traditional Maine lake camp with comfortable modern conveniences. It is a place designed for families and friends to slow down, spend time together and enjoy life on the lake.

The Lake

Start the morning with coffee on the dock, swim or fish from the property, paddle around Cochnewagon Lake, or settle into an Adirondack chair and listen for the loons.

Guests have access to:

* 200 feet of shoreline
* L-shaped dock with swimming and fishing access
* Kayaks
* Canoe
* Two paddleboards
* Paddles and life jackets
* Spacious waterfront lawn
* Lakeside firepit
* Adirondack chairs
* Lawn games
* Outdoor grill and picnic table

Guests bringing their own boat or jet ski can use the dock depending on the size and draft of the watercraft and seasonal lake levels. The public boat launch is approximately half a mile away, and the property has room for a boat trailer up to 40 feet.

The Home

Camp Crocker sleeps up to 8 guests in three bedrooms:

* **Bedroom 1:** Queen bed
* **Bedroom 2:** Full bed
* **Bedroom 3:** Two double beds
* **Bathrooms:** Two full bathrooms

Each bedroom opens onto its own porch, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor connection and peaceful views toward the property and lake.

The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware, a crockpot, blender and coffee station. Enjoy meals inside, cook on the outdoor grill, or gather around the picnic table overlooking the waterfront.

The living and dining area connects to an enclosed lake-view porch — one of our favorite places at Camp Crocker for morning coffee, reading, board games or relaxing after a day on the water.

Wi-Fi and a small smart TV for streaming are available, although Camp Crocker is best enjoyed outside and together.

Additional conveniences include an in-unit washer and dryer and a Pack 'n Play.

A Peaceful Maine Lake Setting

Cochnewagon Lake offers a quieter alternative to many of Maine's larger lakes. Spend the day swimming, fishing, paddling or boating, then come back to the waterfront for dinner, a campfire and an evening by the lake.

Camp Crocker feels removed from everyday life while still being surprisingly convenient. Monmouth's town center, local shops, bakery and the historic Theater at Monmouth are within walking distance. Groceries, restaurants and fuel are nearby, and the Maine coast is approximately 45 minutes away.

Guest Access

Guests have use of Camp Crocker's indoor living areas, bedroom porches, waterfront lawn, shoreline, dock, firepit and recreational equipment.

The home is one story once inside; however, the main entrance and exterior access points require stairs.

The garage is reserved as an owner's lockout and is not available to guests.

Parking is available for guest vehicles and a boat trailer up to approximately 40 feet.

Important to Know

Cochnewagon Lake is a natural body of water. Water depth, shoreline conditions and usable dock depth vary with rainfall and seasonal lake levels.

Guests bringing boats or jet skis should confirm that the dock is suitable for their watercraft and should bring their own dock lines and boat bumpers.

Children must be supervised at all times around the lake, dock, firepit and recreational equipment.

Use of the dock, kayaks, canoe and paddleboards is subject to weather and lake conditions.
