Standing slightly apart from the château, the 15th-century chapel was once a place of devotion; today it offers the same sense of stillness, now shared as a private retreat. Its stone walls and original floors remain untouched by time, while 17th-century antiques and paintings sit naturally and support the space — a quiet nod to its past rather than a reinvention of it.
Inside, the ground floor forms a characterful living space: High ceiling, adorned with a rustic chandelier, a small kitchen area, dining table, and a chesterfield sofa gathered beneath the robust oak beams. A curious confession box has been kept in place, a reminder of earlier centuries and often a point of conversation rather than secrecy.
A handcrafted spiral staircase leads to the upper level where the chapel becomes unexpectedly intimate — a generous bedroom centred around a tall period oak four-poster king-size bed, surrounded by deep red and gold fabrics. A dressing table and en-suite shower provide comfort without disturbing the atmosphere. A small east-facing balcony is perfect for a morning coffee.
Morning arrives gently here.
Sunlight passes through stained glass and colours the stone, and for a moment the building returns to its original purpose — a place for quiet reflection, now simply lived in rather than observed.
Thoughtfully Equipped for Comfort
The chapel is fully self-contained, allowing complete independence while remaining part of the estate.
Your kitchen is equipped with a fan oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and integrated dishwasher — designed for relaxed cooking rather than obligation. A log burner provides warmth in cooler months, alongside discreet heating and air conditioning to ensure comfort year-round.
Upstairs, the king-size four-poster bed anchors the bedroom, accompanied by a dressing table and hairdryer. The en-suite includes shower, WC and washbasin. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available for your use, particularly useful for longer stays.
Dining space comfortably seats six, whether for a private supper or guests joining you for the evening. Outside, a courtyard seating area and barbecue allow meals to move easily into the open air.
High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the chapel, pool area and gardens — though many guests find they use it less than expected.
Guests enjoy full access to the pool, gardens and vineyard, along with private secure parking. A local EV charging point is within walking distance.

And for those wishing to enjoy the excellent local restaurants or summer night markets, we offer a complimentary once-weekly door-to-door drop-off and collection, allowing you to dine and explore without concern for driving.
