About this house rental
OUR HOME: Our home is a spacious one-story ranch, and when you book, you’ll have the entire house to yourself, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half baths, 2 living rooms, a full kitchen, a kitchenette, and backyard access. You're right across the street from a playground and basketball court — perfect for families or anyone looking to enjoy some outdoor time. And for those heading into the city, the LIRR is just a short 8 minute walk away, giving you quick and easy access to NYC Penn Station and the surrounding areas. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Bedroom 1 (Main Level): Queen bed Bedroom 2 (Main Level): Full bed Bedroom 3 (Main Level): Twin bed Bedroom 4 (Lower Level): Queen bed with private bath. Each bedroom has its own desk/workspace, perfect for working remotely or studying. Each bedroom includes either a clothing rack or a designated section for guest use. Please note that some closet and dresser space may be reserved for owner storage — we use the tops of closets and the bottoms of dressers for this purpose. A designated section of the fridge and freezer is also reserved for owner use, though there is ample space available for guests. Our pantry is stocked with essentials during your stay. ADDITIONAL SPACES: Relax in tw comfortable living rooms, cook meals in the full kitchen, or enjoy the outdoors in the private backyard. GUEST ACCESS: The house is fully yours during your stay, except for the garage and two rooms we use for storage closets. These rooms will be locked and are not accessible. During your stay, you may see our chickens and geese enjoying the backyard within their secure enclosures. I will make a brief daily visit to feed and care for them, using the backyard entrance. OTHER NOTES: No smoking in home. When we’re not hosting, we share our home with our sweet cat and dog. From time to time, you may also hear the train passing by—it’s all part of the local charm. Exterior security cameras in use. We kindly ask that all guests remove their shoes upon entering the home.
