Historic Parson’s Widow’s House with Soul: In the 18th century, Charlotte Pistorius lived here, a close confidante of poet Ernst Moritz Arndt. The 85 m² upstairs apartment features a spacious bedroom with a double bed and, as a special highlight for guests of all ages, our “Mini Kingdom”: two cozy “caves” on each side of the house, each with a full single bed—perfectly suitable for adults as well. These charming rooms have lower doors than usual, creating a snug retreat that requires you to duck when entering.
Please note the following steps in the living area: one step from the kitchen to the living room, another from the living room to the hallway, and one to each of the three bedrooms. We recommend guests with limited mobility consider this when booking.
We have lovingly combined the original 17th-century charm with modern comforts. The apartment accommodates 4 people and a baby up to 2 years old (baby cot available on request). Pets are not permitted.
A private section of the garden is yours to enjoy—perfect for barbecuing, relaxing, or savoring a glass of wine in the evening sun.
