About this house rental
Moonlight Ridge is a private retreat from the world. It is the perfect place to get away for relaxation or to hide out to complete a difficult work or school deadline. Sitting on a private 112 acres with magnificent Missouri views this cozy home comfortably sleeps up to two adults. Enjoy your coffee on the sunny front porch or grab your hiking boots to explore the acreage. Reliable Wi-Fi, a stocked kitchen, and smart TV access with Roku.
The Space
This property has easy access to Hwy 63, which means Columbia or Jefferson City are 15 minutes away. There are no stairs on the property, and the doorways and bathroom are extra wide to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs with ease. The home is all one level with one full bedroom with a King-sized bed and one full bathroom fully stocked for guests, and is accessible throughout the whole house. The house has a large walk-in closet with a washer, dryer and laundry soap for guest use and boasts a dedicated workspace, complete with a comfortable work chair, desk, and printer/scanner.
The living room is open to the kitchen with lots of seating available. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances, cooking pans of all sizes and the cabinets stocked with spices for your cooking needs. The home has a wide front porch with a comfortable glider bench to soak in the views while drinking a glass of wine. There are additional chairs located inside to use at night so you can recline all the way back, explore the heavens, and fully appreciate why this property is called “Moonlight Ridge”.
Guest access
The entire home and 80 acres are at your disposal. The garage or "shed" space is blocked from guest use.
Other things to note
There is an abundance of wildlife here, so don't be surprised if you find deer munching in the front yard, see raccoons or opossums, or hear coyotes singing in the distance at night. We also have an abundance of birds; feel free to refill the bird feeder from the bucket on the front porch. The Cardinals will appreciate you!
