Good stay, thank you

The room was large and the garden private. The room and amenities were clean.

It wasn’t obvious from the property description that this is a room in a house and you share the kitchen and bathroom. With all the other rooms rented people were coming and going at all hours and I was woken up every night at 4am by another guest coming in the kitchen and using the microwave (my room was directly off the kitchen). The kitchen is not brilliantly stocked with cooking utensils. I had to buy a chopping board as there wasn’t one. Other guests tended to leave their dirty dishes in the sink.

Disgusting accommodation would never recommend to anyone.

Absolutely nothing.

The property was filthy dirty there was old bits of food in the bottom of the oven, the fridge was dirty & full of food some which was out of date. The floor in our room was sticky & dirty. The microwave was rusty so unusable. The sandwich toaster was dirty & the kettle was so scaled up. Stains in the toilet & the mop was black. The mattress on the bed was filthy & stained with what looked like bodily fluids. There was no extra bedding for the sofa bed so I had to buy a sheet duvet & cover plus extra pillows, if I’d have known (I did actually ask) but I could have bought mine from home. There was a stain on the ceiling from what looks like a previous leak. There were no fire doors on the kitchen & our room was off the kitchen again no fire door. I contacted the very rude owner who ignored most of my messages. Also there is no parking it’s street parking & as the room was so awful we stayed out till gone 11pm every night to avoid as much time there as possible so there were no spaces available & this made things very difficult with my disabled mum who because the shelves were so low cracked her head on one which caused her to fall. It was so low even my 7 year old could have hit his head. Very dangerous.

I wouldn't stay there again

Comfortable bed WiFi

Free parking is useless when there is no where to park. Laundry hanging on radiator in the kitchen. Stink of either blocked drains or dirty mop. Plug in freshener does not cover it. Rubish bins not emptied Filthy toilet bowel taps and soa dispensers Bedding smelt then on removal of duvet cover blood stains duvet. Accommodation Spec does not make it clear kitchen toilet and bathrooms are all communal . Spec say towels , only one small one in communal bathroom. Fortunately I brought my own. Instruction for TV would have been helpful.
