In Sulignat, a small, unspoiled village on the border of the Bresse and Dombes regions, this old stone and brick house stands in the middle of a large, wooded garden, offering unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside. An ideal setting for gatherings with family or friends, just a stone's throw from the region's best attractions: Vonnas, a flower-filled village renowned for its gastronomy by Georges Blanc (4.6 km), the medieval town of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne and its market (8 km), Mâcon (18 km), Bourg-en-Bresse (25 km), and the listed village of Pérouges (34 km). Located on the first floor, accessible by an internal staircase, this 116 m² gîte charms with its authentic character: exposed beams and family furniture create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The beautiful stone fireplace, the heart of the living room, invites relaxation and gives this gîte its cozy feel. The living room opens onto a long wooden balcony overlooking the countryside. A bedroom (one double bed, 140x190cm) is thoughtfully designed for peaceful nights. A bathroom with a toilet completes this floor. A slightly steep staircase leads to the upper level, where you'll find a large, relaxing lounge with a library/games area, perfect for unwinding. On the bedroom side, two bedrooms are nestled in the attic, where charming dormer windows let in light and give these rooms a special character; each is furnished with two single beds (2x90x200cm). In front of the house, the open garden invites you to fully enjoy the fresh air and panoramic views of the Bresse countryside. Extending from the courtyard is a secluded garden, ideal for al fresco dining or simply relaxing in the hammock provided. Cottage description: Access to the upper floor is via an internal staircase with a balcony that opens onto either the separate kitchen or the living room and dining area. There is one bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190 cm) and a bathroom with a toilet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds (90 x 200 cm), and between them, a relaxation area with a library/games room. Travel light: beds are made upon arrival, and towels, linens, and utilities are provided, ensuring a hassle-free stay from the moment you step inside. Cleaning is available as an option. The cottage is attached to the owner's workshop (ground floor). Access to the cottage is via two gates. Oil heating.
