This modern apartment is connected to a 1940 bungalow in the Forest Hill Historical District, which is within walking distance to many restaurants, breweries, wine bar, Forest Hill Park and the James River with multiple hiking trails. Also 10 min away from downtown Richmond and the Capital Trail. It has a private parking spot in the alley and private entrance in the back through a cute little screened-in porch with ceiling fan, a perfect place for morning coffee or evening wine. The living and dining area has a ceiling fan and TV with electric fireplace. The kitchenette has all the equipment to cook basic meals and a coffee bar (no freezer). A full-size washer and dryer and storage is in the laundry closet. The large bedroom has a dedicated workspace, TV and ceiling fan and is connected to a large bath through a barn door, which has a large walk-in shower. The entire unit is done in a very soothing palette of teal, gray, purple and yellow, perfect for a relaxing stay. The apartment is connected to the main house, but is very private and soundproof. The out door area features a dining area with gas fireplace and bar and a living area with seating, firepit and umbrella. Smoking, vaping and use of marijuana is allowed only on the patio, not indoors. The patio is shared with the owner. For entertainment, a cornhole and badminten set, football and soccer ball are in the shed and board and card games are inside on the TV stand. Richmond offers many historical sites, museums, shopping, entertainment venures, casinos and gaming places, hiking, walking and biking trails throughout the city. And Richmond is within 1 1/2 hours from Fredricksburg, Williamsburg and Charlottesville.
