The Kranichhorst vacation home in Bodstedt offers you a peaceful getaway near the beach with exclusive use of the property and a large, fenced-in garden. With 45 m² of living space, it can accommodate up to 5 people—ideal for families, couples, or vacations with your dog. Its natural setting, combined with modern amenities and a cozy atmosphere, makes this home the perfect retreat on the Baltic Sea.
The Space:
The single-story vacation home has two bedrooms; the loft has a ceiling height of 1.50 m. The living room includes an additional sleeping area and a kitchenette, which offers everything you need for your stay (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and dining table).
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer. A flat-screen TV provides entertainment. The spacious garden (approx. 550 m²) features a hammock, a fire pit, and a grill, inviting you to enjoy relaxing hours outdoors.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire vacation home, including the garden. A private parking space is located right next to the house. Bicycles can be stored safely in a lockable area, and e-bikes can be charged there.
The Neighborhood:
The house is situated in a quiet village in the Fuhlendorf/Bodstedt region, just a few minutes from the water. The surrounding area is characterized by nature, the Bodden landscape, and extensive biking and hiking trails. Restaurants and shopping are easily accessible, as are various recreational activities such as water sports, fishing, and excursions in the surrounding area.
Getting Around:
The region is ideal for exploring by bike or car. The Hanseatic city of Stralsund, with attractions such as the harbor, the Old Town, and cultural offerings, is about 35–40 minutes away. The nearest airport, Rostock-Laage, is approximately 80 km away.

For your convenience, we would like to point out that bed linen and towels are not provided in our apartments. You are welcome to bring your own or simply book them via our online service. You can conveniently make your booking before your arrival—so everything will be ready for you when you arrive.
