Below is the complete list of critical failures and issues we encountered:
• Severe Security Breach: Two unknown women was in the apartment without a key during our check into appartment, this causing immense distress. One of the women was in the bed. Furthermore, the main entrance lock repeatedly jammed, making opening and locking the door highly problematic and insecure.
• Inaccurate Location & Arrival Issues: The location description provided was highly inaccurate. Arriving late at night in total darkness, it was extremely difficult and stressful to find the apartment. The given address was 16 Afroditis Street. But the location of the Appartment ist: Defkalionos , number 16a.
• Infestation & Severe Hygiene Issues: We discovered live cockroaches inside the kitchen cabinets where the dishes are stored. The apartment was not cleaned properly, with visible garbage left on the floor behind the bed, and a filthy floor throughout. Additionally, a strong, foul sewage smell was constantly coming from under the kitchen sink.
• Widespread Mold: There is toxic mold present in the shower area, on the ceiling, and in the main room, posing a serious health risk.
• Unsanitary Bedding: The bed linen had already been used by the two foreign women mentioned above. Despite our explicit request for fresh, clean bed linen, none was provided to us.
• Missing and Broken Facilities: There was no hot water in the shower. The shower cabin itself completely lacked doors. Crucial kitchen amenities like the stove and toaster were missing, and the toilet brush was broken.
Because you failed to provide a safe, sanitary, and habitable accommodation, we were forced to secure emergency lodging in a hotel.
