They gave away our booking

Arrived at the property and I could see that the cabin we had booked was occupied; people things and towels all over the balcony. The man told us there was a leak in the cabin so we couldn’t stay there when clearly that was a lie since people were already in the cabin. He tried offering us a room upstairs for the same price that was significantly shittier than the cabin we had booked. We left and booked a place just down the beach that was way nicer and cheaper than this. If there was a booking issue that would have been fine but I don’t like being blatantly lied to.
