The cottage was so easy to find, and from the moment we drove up, we were absolutely delighted! We all squealed with excitement at just how adorable it was!
Our little girls were convinced it was their very own little house, and watching their excitement as they explored every nook and cranny, chose their bedrooms and discovered all the little treasures was such a joy.
The backyard was simply beautiful and the perfect place to while away the afternoon with a picnic, a swing and absolutely no rush to be anywhere. I honestly cannot remember the last time I just sat still, soaking up my surroundings and enjoying the simple pleasure of doing nothing.
The little girls loved the swing and adventuring around the beautful yard.
And then there was the magnificent port wine magnolia tree! Without a doubt, the biggest I have ever seen. It was absolutely stunning and made the garden feel even more magical.
Of course, our stay wouldn't have been complete without our delightful little onsite "host", Tigga! What an absolute sweetheart and the perfect little companion.
There was something so special about this cottage. It wasn't just somewhere to stay; it was a place to slow down, enjoy the little things and make beautiful memories together. Our littlest girl didnt want to leave, she decided she wanted to live in this home forever! :)
We loved every minute of it! ❤️
Also, very importantly! The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great!
If I have to think of something, it was the street parking and the bumpy footpath due to the tree roots. Having said that, at no point did I feel the was wasnt safe. It was literally parked 2 metres from the front door!! haha
