Tallowwood Hideaway is a newly crafted two-bedroom cabin designed and built by the host from the ground up. Sustainability being the heart of her project - each detail chosen with love, every finish considered. Nestled on a private corner of the property, Tallowwood Hideaway offers a peaceful sense of seclusion with a hidden outlook, while remaining perfectly positioned to enjoy the very best of the surrounding coast and hinterland.

The design playfully blends cabin-esque cosiness with a modernist edge. Retro touches - kiss considered interiors, unique finds nestled between quality finishes. Unassuming and playful yet a little indulgent, just where it matters.

The result is the perfect space to , breathe deep and relax.

The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the private deck. Step outside into nature where a freestanding outdoor bath invites long soaks beneath the tree canopy. The bathroom inside continues the mood - dark, lush, and indulgent.

The lodge is fully self-contained with private access and a two car parking space. The accommodation and fenced deck area is wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that there are no wall supported rails within the property. Your aspect and outdoor view are private, with the bush as your backdrop.

Sustainability is built into each layer of the property - solar power, rainwater tanks, composting, an onsite treatment system, and repurposed materials throughout. Heritage breed chickens live on-site, hatched and raised at Tallowwood Hideaway. When our ladies are in lay, you're welcome to enjoy complimentary fresh eggs.

Local producers are supported throughout our BnB, the cabin is stocked seasonally with our favourite locally sourced products to complement your stay.

A shared driveway with the main house leads to the property - your cabin access, parking, and outlook are entirely private.
