Take a deep breath, settle in, and feel at home. Your retreat in the heart of the Bavarian Forest, above Bodenmais. Coffee on the sunny terrace, birdsong, and a view of the Silberberg. This vacation rental is intentionally designed for couples: the ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet together - with the option to add an extra bed for a child or guest if needed.
The terrace is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and is shielded by a hedge. Through the patio door, you’ll find an inviting room that combines sleeping, living, and dining areas. Its location in the basement keeps the apartment pleasantly cool in summer and cozy and warm in winter. Sleep in late in the double bed. In the evening, enjoy pay TV with MagentaTV, including Netflix, Disney+, and RTL+, or simply do nothing at all. Free Wi-Fi and charging stations right by the bed ensure pure relaxation. From a quick breakfast to a shared dinner: the kitchen is well-equipped. The bathroom features a bathtub with a shower. A top-loading washing machine is available for longer stays. We’re a family ourselves: BPA-free children’s cutlery and a high chair are already waiting for you, and we’re happy to provide a crib upon request. If you’re arriving by car, you can park for free in your own parking space.
To help you get to know the area better in every season, we’ll provide you with the aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald before your arrival, which offers free or discounted access to around 150 recreational activities - such as swimming pools, ski lifts, zoos, and museums - as well as the GUTi ticket for unlimited travel by bus and train throughout the entire Bavarian Forest fare zone. Hiking and biking trails start right outside the door. Easily accessible: Silberberg with its summer toboggan run, chairlift, and visitor mine; the Großer Arber; and Arbersee. In winter, ski slopes and cross-country trails are in the immediate vicinity. The town center, with its shops, cafés, and the JOSKA Glass Paradise, is conveniently accessible. Public parking is free with your guest card.
