The home is located along the serene shores of Embought Bay with direct access to the Hudson River, this brand-new riverfront retreat is the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and calm. The home features two spacious bedrooms — one with a plush king bed, the other with a cozy queen — plus a queen pull-out sofa bed. Home comfortably sleeps up to six guests.

Set in a quiet, peaceful area, it offers beautiful views of the river and unforgettable sunsets right from your own doorstep.

In the morning, check the tide & kayak out together on the bay (we provide 2 kayaks) to breathe with nature up close, challenge friends to a game of corn hole in the yard, gather around the shaded patio table for an alfresco brunch, cool off in the above-ground pool, or lay on the swing with a nice book while waiting for the sun set over the water from the yard.

We provide a full kitchen for home-cooked meals, Nespresso coffee or French press, tea and honey, complimentary flavored seltzer water, a washer and dryer for effortless packing, one and a half beautifully appointed bathrooms, and radiant heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort — all the little details that make a brand-new house already feel like home.

What's also nice about this home is that the whole floor is one level. So it's even great for loved ones who need a vacation but has trouble climbing stairs.

You're also 20 minutes from Saugerties and 30 minutes from Woodstock. The Catskill Mountains are close by for hiking, and Windham and Hunter Mountains are just 30–45 minutes away for skiing. With Kingston, Rhinebeck, Saratoga Springs, and Albany - all within reach. You're perfectly positioned to explore everything the Hudson Valley and the Catskills have to offer.

Beyond the waterfront relaxation at the house, you are perfectly positioned to explore the best of the region year-round. A scenic 30 to 45-minute drive brings you right into the heart of the Catskill Mountains, where you can hike to the magnificent Kaaterkill Falls to experience its dramatic 260-foot waterfall drop, or head into town for a classic country brunch featuring hot pancakes and fresh omelets. Another day, you can go to the town of Hudson on Warren St for shopping and delicious dining.
Or head to Klocke Estate in Claverack for sunset drinks and dinner.

During the winter months, the Catskills area turns into a snowy playground with Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain just down the road for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Because our home is situated near the river and surrounded by nature, the outdoor space is rustic and brings plenty of night insects. They are entirely harmless, but they are part of the setting!

We keep the interior mostly bug-free and have a Vevo unit running in the main living space. Even so, occasional gnats or fruit flies can sneak inside—particularly when doors are kept open after dark or food is left out. That's country living for you! :-).

No Swimming is allowed on the river. Guests should follow the signs and stay behind the border.

Kids should be supervised and accompanied by an adult outside the house at all times.


Message us ahead of time, to let us know if you want to use the Kayaks and paddle to the Hudson River. There are 2 kayaks and life jackets are provided. A form will be sent to you for Equipment use and waiver.

Also, if you intend to use the pull out sofa, let us know so we can leave beddings & the blanket for you.
