The house is in Lovrenc na Pohorju, surrounded by the forests, mountains and countryside of the Pohorje region, well suited to hiking, cycling and a relaxed nature-focused stay away from busier tourist centres. Within 1-1.5 hours, guests can enjoy Lovrenc Lakes (Lovrenška jezera) and the Pohorje forests, as well as day trips can be made towards Klopni Vrh, Pesek and Rogla, home to the Pohorje Treetop Walk and further walking and cycling routes. The area also makes a good base for day trips across the Slovenian-Austrian border into Austrian Styria, known for its vineyards, traditional villages and scenic wine roads. The closest international airport is Ljubljana Airport is closer here, at around 1 hour 30 minutes drive.
