Welcome to All Creation Sings Casita con Vista! Watch the birds and take in gorgeous views while sipping coffee under retractable awnings or in front of huge windows. Cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace in leather recliners. Sleep Number split king adjustable frame bed. Blackstone griddle, stocked spices, washer/dryer. Enjoy easy access close to shopping, restaurants, skiing, hiking.
Bright open living space with Antique furnishings and custom local decor, leather recliners and chairs, large kitchen with lots of counterspace. Retractable AWNINGS provide shade when needed without blocking the mountain view when indoors! Rocking chair gliders to relax and take in the views.
All Creation Sings Casita con Vista is named after the views, beauty, and wildlife that enjoy visiting the property. A bucket of birdseed is provided to refill the feeders for the birds and squirrels during your stay. Birdhouses and birdbaths bring a variety of birds. Live plants in the home provide cleaner air and added charm. Elk occasionally stroll through the neighborhood.
*Please remove shoes to protect light-colored carpet and wood floors. Disposable slippers and/or flipflops (average adult sizes) are provided for your convenience.
BEDROOMS:
-Primary on main- Adjustable frame split king Sleep Number bed, with Roku TV.
-Upstairs 2nd bedroom- one twin bed and spare twin floor mattress stored underneath, TV, and antique furniture.
-Loft- memory foam queen sofa bed with linens and optional mattress topper stored in closet, some puzzles, games and books.
Exercise equipment: Compact walking treadmill compatible with UREVO app. Yoga mat, light handweights, some stretching/toning equipment and bands, walking sticks. *The treadmill is for walking only.
BATHROOMS:
-Main floor-Full bath with tub shower and heated fan with access from living room and primary bedroom.
-Usptairs-2nd bath with shower accessed through 2nd bedroom.
4-zone split A/C and heat to accomodate each sleeping area.
KITCHEN:
-Fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, most common herbs and spices, olive and avocado oils, vinegar, sugar, etc. microwave, pop-up toaster, crockpot, pots, pans, blender, 6qt Instant Pot, electric water kettle.
-Antique wash stand turned coffee bar with coffee, tea, drip coffee maker, insulated french press, and pour-over coffee maker.
DINING: Dining table seats 4, breakfast bar with 3 stools, hightop table for 2 on deck.
Wrap around deck with Blackstone gas griddle, prep table and accessories on one side, 3 glider rocking chairs on view side.
ACCESS: 6 solar-lit steps with lowered handrail lead up to front door and deck.
Gravel driveway with gentle slope can fit 2 small or one large vehicle. Easy access paved neighborhood street off main road. Four wheel drive is not required.
LOCATION: Conveniently located in the town limits with a variety of restaurants within minutes of the home. 10 minutes to downtown Waynesville and Hospital. Approximately 30 minutes to Asheville and Cherokee.
Families with children:
*We welcome well-behaved children who can be respectful of the antiques, custom local furnishings, and delicate electronics. Please be gentle.
-Only adults are to operate the remotes and electronics.
-No plastic dishware available for small children.
-Exterior steps and railroad ties down to the lower yard are steep and may be slippery and /or have loose soil, gravel, and walls. Use with caution and stay on stepping stones.
-Deck and stone path may be slippery when wet. Do not run.
- The french doors at the top of the stairs use magnetic closure only, no door knob. Push doors in at top half only to release magnets without damaging doors when opening from the stairs.
-Upstairs doors do not lock, but provide privacy between rooms. 2nd bedroom is at the top of the stairs. 2nd bathroom and loft are located off of 2nd bedroom.
-The retractable awning will close automatically if windy.
*No rough-housing or large loud parties.
SMOKING is prohibited indoors. Any evidence of smoking will result in a $500 fine.
The Blackstone gas griddle must be cleaned after each use to prevent rusting and avoid a $30 fine.
Firewood is available during colder months for fireplace. Do not leave fires unattended and use firescreen at all times.
SECURITY:
-Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
-Fire extinguisher and fire blanket in kitchen
-1 Exterior motion tracking camera on the property monitors front door, rear of house, and driveway. NO cameras face the interior of the home or the view side sitting area of the deck.
