About this cottage rental
Perched above Fraize, Le Haut du Bout Chalet welcomes you to the heart of nature. In front, the blue line of the Vosges mountains; behind, forest. All around, a vast park, several terraces, many trees and birds. Nearby, meadows with horses and sheep, and numerous walking trails. Close by, lakes, hiking, Alsatian villages, and winter and summer sports. Inside, a spacious, bright living area with a wood stove and large windows, plus a master bedroom with private bathroom. Upstairs, two bedrooms overlooking the forest, separated by a second bathroom. This carefully renovated 135 m² family chalet accommodates up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, and high-speed Wi-Fi lets you work from the desk area. For families, a baby bed, high chair, toys, and playground are provided. Enjoy the private barbecue, ping-pong table, and bikes or e-mountain bikes available on site for an extra fee. A ski room and bike storage make sporty stays easy. The 7,000 m² wooded grounds at the top of Mount Lange offer stunning mountain views. Fraize center and supermarket are 3 km away. Access is best by car (4 parking spaces). Note: the chalet is supplied by a well—bring bottled water for drinking. In winter, snow equipment is required. Do not take the Joseph Valentin forest road from Strasbourg: it is difficult to drive. Important: acceptance of the house rules and deposit is mandatory.
