About this apartment rental
Enjoy the communal swimming pool with sun loungers and the convenience of a private parking space in the underground garage.
Ideally located near beaches, resorts, restaurants and Willemstad.
In the immediate area you’ll find a variety of dining options to suit every taste. Choices include Pirate Bay Beach Club & Restaurant right on the beach, Que Tapa for tapas, Tomatoes Pizza Curacao for pizzas, or De Visserij Piscadera at the fishing harbor for fresh fish from Friday to Monday. Within the resorts in the bay there are even more options, such as Ç Spice, Koi Kòrá (sushi and fish), Salty Iguana Grill and Zala Gastro Lounge, plus bars like Paradise Beach Bar for cocktails with waterfront views.
For those who love the water, there are plenty of activities. At the Dreams/Marriott dive shop you can book dive courses, guided dives or rent equipment, and from the beach you can enjoy non-motorized watersports such as kayaking and paddleboarding. A short drive away are some of Curaçao’s best snorkeling spots, such as Kokomo Beach with beautiful coral near the cliffs, Tugboat Beach with the sunken boat and coral along the rocks, and Little Blue Bay (Boca Sami) with good facilities. At Playa Piskado, also known as “Turtle Beach,” you can almost always spot sea turtles from the shore, and a bit farther along the west coast you’ll find top locations like Grote Knip, Klein Knip, Kalki (Ali’s Reef), Porto Marie and Jeremi for clear water and stunning reefs.
Beyond beach and sea, there are fun activities and attractions nearby. You can book a boat trip to Klein Curaçao or a catamaran cruise, or plan a dive or snorkel trip to famous reefs. The historic inner city of Willemstad (UNESCO) is about 10–15 minutes away by car and is ideal for an afternoon of shopping, visiting museums or enjoying a meal. The Hato Caves with their impressive formations and bats, and Shete Boka National Park with rugged inlets and sea turtles, are also popular day trips.
On the practical side, supermarkets and bakeries near Piscadera/Boca Sami are easily accessible for daily groceries. A rental car is recommended to explore the beaches and attractions at your own pace, but taxis and shuttles are also available. ATMs and currency exchange offices can be found in Willemstad and at the larger resorts. Curaçao is warm year-round, often with a pleasant northeast trade wind, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming; Dutch, Papiamento, English and Spanish are widely spoken.
