Self check-in with smart locks makes arrival easy. Guests have full private access to the home during their stay.
Parking is free on-street parking directly in front of the home. As you drive up, the shoulder on the left side of the road widens out into a small parking area. Please note that this is public on-street parking, so a spot directly in front of the home is not guaranteed, though it is rarely an issue.

📍 Location

Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove is a picturesque town of roughly 970 people on the eastern shore of the Avalon Peninsula, nestled deep in the heart of Motion Bay and about 15 minutes south of St. John`s. The settlement traces back to the 1600s and is the site of the first hydroelectric generating station in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Petty Harbour Generating Station. Today it is one of the province`s most photographed communities and a growing tourist destination, with fishing stages, colourful boats, and steep green hills wrapped around a narrow harbour.

Please Note:

Accessibility: Please note that there is a large staircase leading up to the home. Once inside, the entire home is on a single level with no interior stairs.

To help ensure a smooth and worry-free stay, a fully refundable damage-deposit hold of $250 may be placed on your card shortly after arrival. This is only a pre-authorization (not a charge), and it’s automatically released within 5 business days of checkout, as long as everything is left in good shape, which is almost always the case. In the rare situation where something is damaged, only the actual cost of the damage would be deducted from the hold, and nothing more.

For cancellations, please be aware that once a cancellation request has been made, a 4% processing fee incurred during the booking of your stay will be deducted from the refund issued.

Host Rules:

- Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. This includes cigarettes, vaping, and cannabis. However, feel free to step outside and smoke on the deck/patio. Smoking inside the property will result in a $500 fine and immediate eviction.

- Pets are permitted only with prior approval, with a maximum of 2 pets per reservation. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for disposing of waste properly before checkout. Bringing an unauthorized or undeclared pet to the property will result in a $500 fee and may lead to immediate termination of the stay.

- In accordance with city guidelines, quiet hours are from 11 PM - 7 AM.

- Parties, loud music, and events are not permitted on the property.

- Please treat all amenities and facilities with care. Report any damages or issues immediately.

- No additional guests are permitted without prior approval. Please reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate guests.

-Please lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. Do not share access codes or keys with anyone not registered.

- Failure to adhere to these rules may result in additional charges or termination of your stay without a refund.

- Please do not wear shoes inside the property.

- The host and/or owner are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damage to property or guests that may occur during your stay.

- The guest making the reservation accepts full responsibility for the safety, actions, and liability for their party.

- No third-party bookings unless a `designated trip planner`.

- Guests are responsible for placing garbage in the bin on collection days. Please only use standard size garbage bags, tied closed, and do not put loose garbage or small grocery bags in the bin.
