Our 1 night stay was absolutely amazing. We never experienced such a warm and welcoming family. Although we didn't speak the same language, we had a lovely evening together and shared many laughs. We were welcomed with home made elderflower and berry juice, grapes from the garden and sweets. Everyone had a great night sleep and in the morning we were greated with the most amazing breakfast. All of it from their Garden or from the animals. With our belly's full we relaxed next to the pool. Some of us went for a trail run around the village. The surroundings are super peaceful and beautiful. I even spotted some deer in the fields! Before we left we were again treated with home made pastries. If you want to experience Bosnian hospitality in a remote pieceful setting, this is the place for you. Thanks again Vesna, Jela, Zarko and Aleksandra! 🤗 ☀️ ⛰️ 😋 🥗
One watchout is the road to get there. Do not follow Google maps! We were lead in the wrong direction and sent on roads which didn't exist. Make sure to check the road in advance, it is easy to get to from the main road. Follow the brown arrow to Domrke, drive on the asphalt road for 5 minutes and you will get there no problem.
