Beauty is everywhere. The bungalow is above rapids in a rainforest setting. I loved the location, went hiking up to the Fortuna Waterfalls and, in the other direction, to the town. Much to discover on the hikes.
And a great experience was being taken by Emmanuel the host to see the red-eyed tree frogs, at night.

The gem in La Fortuna surrounded by beautiful rainforest river which we could see and hear from our own balcony! We were instantly in love with this paradise and the host, Emmanuel, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We had a night hike at an additional cost and couldn't be more happy with it! The place has a comfortable queen size bed and the balcony had a mini fridge and a coffee maker. Just a perfect place for a short stay! We will be back for sure!

The amazing location, a short uber ride from the town centre, was a great surprise. We enjoyed being right on the edge of the rainforest with a private little river area, surrounded by many birds and frogs. The friendly host even gave us a short night tour when we arrived.
It's worth staying out of town to enjoy the peace and nature of this area.
It would be good to have a bit more shelving and kitchen facilities, but we made do with what was available.
