House RulesDogs are better people than most humans. However, please keep your dog confined to one of the bedrooms unless leashed to keep the new area rugs in their current pristine condition. 
Please also respect the private storage areas including the basement, shed and attic. These areas are off limits. 
The front door is left open to avoid wear and tear on its historic value. However, it is monitored by a security camera with a motion detector that alerts the owner to any comings and goings. And the hamlet is virtually crime free. The second entry door in the foyer has a smart lock however. Please hold it closed while locking to ensure it closes properly.
