Rancho Al Mar – Your Perfect Beach Retreat
Located in the private community of Las Veraneras near Los Cobanos, Rancho Al Mar is a beautifully designed beach house built for groups of 12–16 people. Set in a lush, forest-like landscape just a 5-minute walk from the beach, it offers the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and coastal access.
The house features 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and air conditioning, along with a mix of nightstands, dressers, and closet space throughout. A social bathroom and dressing room are also available for guest convenience.
The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area is bright and airy, cooled by three large ceiling fans and equipped with a Smart TV, cable, and Wi-Fi. The fully equipped kitchen includes all basic cooking essentials, including a large pot perfect for family-style soups, plus a BBQ area for outdoor grilling.
Outside, you'll find a dining table and additional seating, three hammocks for relaxing, and two more ceiling fans to keep things cool. The beautifully landscaped backyard includes two pergolas draped in climbing plants and vines, creating a peaceful spot to unwind, along with coconut, mango, and banana trees that bear fruit throughout the year (seasonal).
The private, illuminated swimming pool has two depths — a shallow side for children and a deeper side for adults — plus a shaded lounge area with a table and beach umbrella for relaxing poolside.
We welcome up to two pets at no additional cost.
Beach & Nearby Attractions
Los Cobanos Beach is just about 2 kilometers away, where local operators offer fishing, whale watching, and snorkeling excursions. Note that the beach sits within a protected reef area, so the best time to enjoy the water is during low tide and calm currents.
Rancho Al Mar also makes an excellent home base for exploring the region — Ruta de Las Flores, Cerro Verde, and Lago Coatepeque are all within roughly an hour to an hour and a half's drive, making it easy to combine beach relaxation with day trips to some of El Salvador's most beautiful destinations.
Las Veraneras is a private residential community with 24/7 security. To ensure smooth entry, we submit your guest list to the security gate a few days before your arrival — please have your final guest count ready ahead of time. Las Veraneras Clubhouse membership is included for the first 9 guests, plus children 6 and under. Beyond the 10th guest, there's a $20/person/day charge, which includes a $10 consumable credit toward the restaurant.
Beach access is available:Private access: No limit on group size, and you're welcome to bring your own cooler for drinks.Public beach access (beside the clubhouse): Free of charge. On weekends, a local restaurant sets up tables here with a full menu, cocktails, and minutas.Additional Services:Private in-house cooking service available for an additional fee.Towels and shampoo are not provided, but towel rentals are available for $1.00 each.One house cleaning is included per 7-day stay; additional cleanings can be arranged for an extra cost.
