About this cabin rental
This is one of the first cabins built in Camp Nelson in 1925, then remodeled in the 1950's. This quirky old cabin is different because it is the one of the only original cabins available on VRBO. It is the only vacation rental "on the Loop", the area most coveted by the locals. You can take a stroll down to the General Store or swimming hole. It is like taking a trip back in time.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, and two refrigerators. There are also complete cooking utensils, toaster, blender, and coffee maker ect.
Living Room:
Large living room with pit couch, pool table, and Murphy bed. Sit by the 100 year old fireplace in a 100 year old rocking chair. Please note, the fireplace is temporarily not available due to repairs. There is also a portable air conditioner for warmer days. At night, you can play black light pool. Kids love the glow in the dark pool table.
Bedroom:
Cozy ceder paneled bedroom with queen size memory foam mattress and luxury 600 thread count linens. 32 inch TV with Netflix, Hulu, Disney, and Prime Video.
Bathroom:
Small bathroom with shower. Please note that the entrance to the shower is unusually narrow, only 15 inches wide.
BBQ Area:
The rear deck has a propane BBQ, dining table, and outdoor sink.
Backyard:
Large backyard big enough to play fetch. There is a tiny stream at the rear of the property that you can hear on quiet evenings.
