Guest Access:

The entire property is yours, including the yard and off-street parking. The garden shed is the only area not included in your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Ferntree Gully sits at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, quiet and green with everything close at hand.

Woolworths (6am to midnight) and Chemist Warehouse are under a kilometre down Burwood Hwy. Micah Coffee Brewers does the best coffee locally and Glenfern Bakery the pies and pastries. Paddy's Tavern has live music Thursday to Saturday.

The 1000 Steps, Quarry Reserve Lookout and Glenfern Valley Bushlands are minutes away.



Getting Around:

Off-street parking is included and a car is the easiest way to explore the ranges. Melbourne CBD is around 40 minutes by road outside peak hour.

Ferntree Gully Station is a 15 minute walk or 4 minute drive, on the Belgrave line. Trains run roughly every 20 minutes off peak and take about 50 minutes to Flinders Street.

Buses run along Burwood Hwy to Knox City and Upper Ferntree Gully. Rideshare serves the area, though waits can be longer than inner Melbourne.



Other Things to Note:

Angliss Hospital is a 7 minute drive and Mountain Gate Medical Centre is open until 7pm on weekdays.

The 1000 Steps car park fills early on weekends, so set out before 9am if you plan to walk it.

Winter mornings in the foothills are colder than the city forecast suggests, so pack a warm layer.
