Heavenly Honomu is a spacious 4BR/2BA retreat on a private five-acre oasis filled with fruit trees, tropical plantings, and room to spread out. Built for families and groups up to 13, with ocean views, indoor/outdoor space, full kitchen, washer/dryer, BBQ, and Wi-Fi. Enjoy the quiet Hamakua Coast, close to waterfalls, Honomu town, beaches, farmers markets, and Hilo dining.

- Primary bedroom: king bed plus daybed
- Bedroom 2: queen bed
- Bedroom 3: queen bed
- Grand room / Bedroom 4: king bed plus four twin beds
- Two bathrooms with fresh towels and essentials
- Full kitchen for easy meals at home
- Washer and dryer
- High-speed Wi-Fi

This is an easy home base for waterfall adventures, Hamakua Coast drives, Hilo farmers market mornings, beach days, and relaxed evenings with family and friends. Akaka Falls State Park is only a short drive away, and Honomu town, Honolii, Rainbow Falls, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, Carlsmith Beach Park, Liliuokalani Gardens, Coconut Island, Richardson Ocean Park, and Hilo restaurants are all within reach.
Good to know
A car is recommended. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 8 AM. No smoking indoors. No parties or commercial events without written permission. This is a farm-style property with animals nearby and some white electric fence lines. Please supervise children, do not touch electric fencing, avoid startling animals, and approach animals only at your own risk.

- No Smoking inside or near the house
- No non-paying guests sleeping over
- No parties or events or gatherings.
* If it turns out that you had an unauthorized gathering with attendees who had not booked the home (13 max), then there will be a $1000 fee for violating this house rule and disturbing the neighbors.
- This is a nice, residential neighborhood, and we greatly value harmony with our neighbors. Sound travels easily so please make sure to respect the Quiet Hours of 9pm - 8am.
- Please do not take things from the house.
- One Pet allowed upon request and payment of the Pet Fee.
IMPORTANT: If you do bring your pet, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THEM ALONE & UNSUPERVISED IN THE HOUSE! As we have found the hard way that they will then bark non-stop and disturb the neighbors, as well as possibly do damage to the house when left unattended. So please do not plan on bringing them and then leaving them alone in the house while you go on excursions, etc.

We had a lovely time at this fun house and AMAZING property. It's a very comfortable home for a family getaway, and within easy walking distance of a few cute stores, two restaurants, farm stands, and a goat-cuddling farm. Highly recommend.

We visited Hawaii for the first time this summer for my parent's 60th Anniversary. There were 11 of us in total at the house and we could not have made a better choice. There was plenty of space for everyone ( ok sometimes the teenage girls spent too much time in the bathrooms) and the surroundings were perfect. We loved meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Air hockey was fun to play. The amazing soothing sounds of the coqui frogs at night led to peaceful sleep,(earplugs were available if you didnt want to hear them). The absence of city lights was also enjoyable as we saw star filled skys. We enjoyed the fruit on the property like coconut,( the 12year old figured out how to open them) the Ice Cream pods, lemon and even cacao pods. We saw lilliokoi, bananas, mangosteen and avocados that were not quite ripe. Our friend chicken little welcomed us and followed when we followed the trails and the wild pigs were cool. What made this stay even better was the locals. Walking town to the town square and talking to the locals who offered great advice was priceless. And the food was good also. If you want something touristy, go to Kona, but if you want the real Hawaiian vibe you have to go to the Honomu House and enjoy!!!

We loved the amazing sounds of the rainforest. The kids loved the air hockey table and fruits and watching the chickens and pigs. There was plenty of space, some of the spaces could use updating, but it was functional.
