Step back in time with a stay at this colorful 1950s-inspired retreat in the heart of tiny Alba, Missouri!

Located in a fully bricked historic-style building, this is one of four unique vacation rental suites at Bricktown B N Bs. This suite was designed to capture the fun, colorful spirit of the 1950s, with classic black-and-white checkered flooring, bold pink and mint walls, atomic-inspired decor, and a special nod to The King of Rock & Roll — Elvis Presley.

The full kitchen includes an oven, refrigerator, and cabinet space, making the suite comfortable for everything from a quick weekend getaway to a longer stay.

Small-Town Charm, Close to the Action

Alba is our hometown, and we intentionally chose this little community as the home of Bricktown B N Bs. It’s a quiet, cozy place to relax away from the traffic and noise of larger cities while still being close enough to explore the surrounding area.

We’re approximately 15 minutes from Joplin and Carthage, with shopping, dining, Route 66 attractions, and historic sites all within an easy drive.

Our building is also located next door to Beard Engine Brewery, which is open Friday–Sunday, so you can enjoy a local brewery just steps from your suite.

Alba is a small, quiet town, so this isn’t a busy city location. There is no highway or heavy city traffic right outside your door. Instead, you’ll enjoy a peaceful place to slow down and recharge while still being close to Joplin, Carthage, and the surrounding attractions.

Our goal with this suite is simple: we want you to feel like you truly stepped back into the 1950s. From the checkered floors and pink-and-mint color combination to the vintage-inspired details throughout, we’ve tried to make this space feel fun, nostalgic, and completely different from an ordinary hotel stay.
