Saddlers Cottage is made for quiet weekends and time away from the city. Settle onto the covered deck with a coffee, take in the uninterrupted views across the valley or simply enjoy the slower pace of the surrounding countryside.

Inside, the cottage is warm, comfortable and full of character. The light-filled living area opens directly onto the deck, keeping the landscape in view throughout the day. A dedicated reading and writing nook creates a peaceful spot to read, work or spend a quiet afternoon.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for meals at home, along with a Nespresso machine, coffee and tea. French doors connect the living area with the deck, making it easy to move between the cottage and the outdoors.

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with two single beds that can be configured as a king. Both are prepared with hotel-quality linen. A heat pump in the living area, portable bedroom heaters, Starlink Wi-Fi and a washer-dryer combo make the cottage comfortable for longer stays too.

Beyond the cottage, follow the walking track through the paddocks to the natural creek, where you can cool off with a swim on warmer days. Friendly sheep graze across the grounds, adding to the relaxed rural setting.

Good to Know
• The fireplace is non-operational and not available for guest use
• A villa is located approximately 100 metres away at the top of the driveway and is not visible from the cottage, so the cottage still feels very private. The wider paddocks and creek are shared, however, and villa guests may occasionally pass the cottage when accessing them. For larger groups, Saddlers Cottage and An Chroí Villa can also be booked together for exclusive use of the wider estate
• The bathroom has a compact sitting-style bathtub
• The property uses filtered rainwater and a septic system, so please conserve water and only flush toilet paper
• The wider grounds include streams, ponds, rocks, uneven ground and steep terrain, so children must be closely supervised
