About the home

“Coastal Calm at Cape Woolamai” is a double-storey family & pet friendly home in Cape Woolamai, just metres from the calm waters of Cleevland Bight swimming Beach in Cape Woolamai and only a few minutes drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woolamai, San Remo and Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The home has two separate buildings - the main one with all of the Bedrooms, Kitchen & Living Room, and a separate building just a few metres away that features a great Games Room.

In the main building, a central Hallway leads to Bedroom 1 (with BIR), Bedroom 2 (with BIR), Bedroom 3 (with hanging robes), and Bedroom 4 (with BIR). There is also a Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet. A Laundry/second Bathroom (with washing machine & shower) is accessed externally via the covered front entry. Upstairs is the light-filled large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 50" smart TV), which flows seemlessly through several glass sliding doors to the front partially covered Deck.

A few metres away is a separate building that provides a second Living Room (with fuzbol table) and a Kitchenette (with microwave, small bar fridge and sink) plus another Toilet.

Outdoor Areas

The upstairs front semi-covered Deck (with gas BBQ plus table & chairs for 6 people), has delightful water views over the treetops to the close-by Cleevland Bight swimming beach. The fully enclosed yard features a hot & cold water outdoor shower, and is perfect for children and pets alike. The covered ground floor area (under the Deck) feaures an outdoor table Tennis table. There is space to park up to 4 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) on the property, plus additional street parking available if required.

There is also a Camera facing the entrance to the home, but not facing any private areas.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso Pod coffee machine (with milk frother), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the upstairs Living Room and there are portable heaters in each of the four bedrooms, plus a wall mounted heater in the Games Room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, plus 2 children’s beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 4: One set of Single bunks (suitable for small children only)

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
