This location sits within the peaceful hamlet inside the scenic Ria Formosa Natural Park, known for its lagoon landscapes and wildlife. Nearby highlights include Praia da Fábrica, a quiet sandy beach reached by boat or at low tide across the lagoon. Just a short distance away is the historic village of Cacela Velha, home to the 18th-century Fortress of Cacela and the Igreja Matriz de Cacela-Velha overlooking the estuary. The area is renowned for panoramic views of the Ria Formosa and traditional shellfish harvesting along the tidal flats.

No Wi-Fi, no rush: Due to our location and weather conditions, the accommodation does not have Wi-Fi. It's the perfect excuse to turn off your screens, connect with nature, and enjoy an experience of absolute tranquility.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and by car.

The nearest train station, Cacela (Linha do Algarve), is about 3.4 km from the property. The station is served by the regional R line on the Algarve railway, connecting towns such as Vila Real de Santo António, Tavira, and Faro.

Faro Airport (FAO) is the nearest major airport and is about a 40–45‑minute drive (approximately 42–48 km) from the property.

You can enter the accommodation at any time after 15:00. Early check-in can only be arranged on request. If you need it, please send us an email.

Please note that guest registration is compulsory for those over 14 years of age, and only when completed for all travellers, can access to the property be given.
