Breakfast non included. However, it's possible to get some hot water if you have tea bags. / Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus. Mais la cuisine est accessible, avec la possibilité de faire bouillir de l'eau si l'on a des sachets de thé.
We stayed at Pension Colonia in October 2026. The location is perfect, right in the city centre, with underground parking nearby. The price is hard to beat for a clean double room with sheets, towels, a shower, air conditioning and even hot water for tea (if you bring your own tea bags!).
Three downsides, though:
NOISE: Long-term residents can be loud at any hour, including the middle of the night. The walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything. Sleep is apparently optional.
LIGHT: No shutters, so the streetlights become your unwanted night companions.
PESTICIDES: The bed and bedding seemed heavily treated against lice, fleas, bedbugs and other unwelcome guests. Unfortunately, my skin spent the night itching and complaining.
Verdict: Great location, unbeatable price — but bring earplugs, an eye mask and, apparently, a hazmat suit!
